Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Driver-Guide and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is approximately seven hours. As you travel through the heart of the country, you enjoy breathtaking views of the unique countryside, passing by sprawling tea plantations, picturesque lakes and traditional villages.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, later in the afternoon go for first game drive in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lookout for herds of elephants and buffaloes, lions, leopards and gazelles among other animals.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today we will be discovering Queen Elizabeth National Park and its countless gems on land and water on a comfy boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

During a game drive, you will have unlimited game drives in the Kasenyi Plains where you will see several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, elands, African wild dogs among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon return to the park for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Explore this beautiful and biodiverse place for 2-3 hours.

Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park stretches 40 kilometres long, linking Lake George to Lake Edward. Keep an eye out all times, as you may spots hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of other animals.

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you check out of your lodge and embark on a 5 to 6 hour drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector where you will see the rare tree climbing lions. Observe the landscape gradually transforming from open savannah plains to thick and lush green forests.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Wake up early for breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to the park headquarters in Buhoma Sector for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the forest. In groups of 8 people, head into the forest looking for mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2 to 6 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.

Spend one hour in the presence of the gorillas watching them go on with their life in the forest, observe the dominant silverback watching the group and take amazing pictures and photos.

Trek back to the starting point, meet your driver-guide and return to your lodge for an evening of rest, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe passing through the villages with lively market places and the outstretched countryside with tea and coffee plantation, smooth green hills and the occasional wildlife waving you goodbye.

You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
