Detailed Itinerary of 11 Days East Africa Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel, you will meet our driver-guide and go for a Kigali City Tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Center and Kimironko Market.
After lunch you will embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park with a drive through the rolling green hills of Rwanda. Arrive in Musanze in the late afternoon, check in at your lodge, spend the evening at the rest, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up early for breakfast, head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing about gorilla trekking conducted by a senior ranger guide. He will take you through rules and regulations. In groups of 8 people, head to the starting point, enter into the forest searching for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Spend one in the presence of the gorillas watching them play, feed and groom each other. Return to the starting point, meet your driver guide and return

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and Fly to Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali for your flight to Serengeti via Arusha. Upon arrival in this famous wildlife safari destination, your guide will meet you. Here you will enjoy a game drive as you make your way to your camp. Spend the afternoon at relaxation, enjoying the facilities at the lodge, enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 4-7: Serengeti Safari
Spend these four days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park and visiting different region every day. The vast Serengeti National Park is a world-renowned safari destination, a picturesque spot where you will see glorious savannahs and lavish grasslands. Each year, Serengeti National Park attracts millions of travelers from all over the world to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, the sheer variety and number of wildlife include the Big 5 and abundant wildlife species.
On your Serengeti Safari, you will participate in morning and afternoon game drives. As you drive through the savannah plains of Serengeti, be on a lookout for lions, leopards, herds of elephants and buffaloes, gazelles, cheetahs, giraffes, rhinos among others. Other experiences to take part in include hot air balloon safari on which you enjoy aerial views of the park and its wildlife, cultural visits to the Masai Homesteads.

Day 8: Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to the Serengeti as you make your way to the airstrip for your flight to the beautiful Zanzibar Island. On arrival on this idyllic island, you will be picked up by your driver-guide and transfer to your luxury beach resort.

Day 9-10: Zanzibar Beach Holiday
Spend these two days on the beautiful islands of Zanzibar with a number of experiences to do including the Safari Blue Experience—including a visit to three beautiful sandbanks, enjoying a fresh seafood lunch by the beach and snorkeling in clear waters with the possibility of spotting dolphins.
Take part in Spice Farm Tour, where you will learn how various spices are grown, taste seasonal fruits and experience daily village life. You will enjoy local dishes served at the farm. Head to the ancient town of Zanzibar. The Stone Town for a city for exploring key historical and cultural landmarks such as the former Slave Market Site, the local market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Palace Museum and the narrow winding streets lined with shops. You will spare some time to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Nungwi and watch the scenic sunset.

Day 11: Departure
