Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Company Representative – Your driver guide. He will brief you about the safari, then embark journey to Masai Mara National Reserve with a drive through the rift valley where you will have a stop to for views of the escarpments.

Continue to Masai Mara arriving in tie for lunch at your lodge after checking-in, in the afternoon you will have your first game drive exploring the reserve and enjoying sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants, gazelles among others. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – 3: Full Day Masai Mara

Spend these two days on a safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy early breakfast, with your packed lunch boxes head to the reserve for a full day game drive of exploring the endless plains of the reserve.

During the game drive, you have an opportunity to see several animals including the Big Five – leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos, giraffes among others. These animals are at their most active during morning. Enjoy lunch in the wilderness of the reserve while enjoying the beautiful scenery and watch animals grazing and roaming in the distant plains. After lunch, you will have another game drive on which you will see more animals.  At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

 Day 4: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park with a stopover in Nairobi for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Amboseli arriving in time for an evening game drive on which you will see a variety of wildlife species such as large herds of elephants, lions and watch the beautiful sunset before the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli

After breakfast, you head out for a full day game drive of exploring Amboseli National Park on a morning game drive on which you will see a variety of wildlife species including large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, gazelles among others.

Enjoy lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue with the game drive till evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Tsavo west National park

Enjoy breakfast and head out on an en-route game drive as you head to Tsavo West National Park, giving you a golden opportunity to spot nocturnal animals and hunters that are easily spotted early in the morning. Lookout for cheetahs, lions among others.

Arrive in Tsavo West National Park in time for lunch at your lodge after checking in. later go for a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary where you will have an encounter with several rhinos in the sanctuary. Later in the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive in Tsavo west National Park and Departure

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park enjoying sightings of more animals and the park’s scenic landscape. Later, exit the park and journey back to Nairobi with en-route lunch.

You will be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight back home or to your next destination
