Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed our representative. Entebbe acts as the gateway to the diverse beauty of Uganda, the country of adventurous mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking adventure, stunning wildlife safaris, amazing road trips and adventurous by road, horse and foot.
Experience the hospitality of the Ugandan people and be amazed by the cultural encounters with the different indigenous tribes. Our driver awaits you in the airport, carrying a sign with your name on it. Welecome to Uganda!

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast you will embark on a 9 hour journey from Kampala to the untamed wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the journey is long but very scenic drive over winding roads through stunning nature, countryside and bustling villages. The closer you get to Bwindi, the narrower the road gets as it starts winding through dense, mountainous forest.
It is possible to see monkeys, zebras and antelopes emerging from the forest. Along the way you will have lunch in Mbarara and a stop at Kayabwe for Equator Crossing for photos and a chance to stand in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Arrive in the park in the evening, check in at your lodge for an evening of rest, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today is the day you have been waiting for and with a bit of luck you will come eye to eye with the most amazing creatures in this jungle – the mountain gorillas. After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver-guide and take you to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and head to the park for gorilla trekking.
Join other visitors at the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the dos and don’ts s of gorilla trekking, be assigned a gorilla family to trek and then head into the forest looking for mountain gorillas. The trek takes about 2 – 4 hours depending on the movement of gorillas and where they spent their previous night. Spend one hour in their presence of the gorillas watching them go on with their life in the forest, observe female gorillas take care of their babies, watch them play, jump from one tree to another among others.
Later trek back to the park headquarters, meet your driver-guide and return to your lodge for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive back to Entebbe
After breakfast, embark on a journey back to Entebbe. Pass through the villages with their lively marketplaces and he outstretched countryside with tea and coffee plantation, smooth green hills and the occasional wildlife viewing.

Day 5: Departure
This is the last day of your Uganda Safari, it is time to catch your flight home from Entebbe International Airport. Depending on your flight schedule, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe for your flight back home or to your next destination.
